Changes in Shipping Fees and Settlement|| Self Shipping [TECHNOZONE WALIAJI]]

To improve seller’s efficiency of order fulfillment, to expand the serviceable area and to serve more customers, CF is expected to launch Self Shipping by Sellers on 12.10 (latest 12.11) which will support sellers to contact carrier to fulfill orders by themselves.

There would be some adjustment on order processing and shipping rules after Self Shipping by Sellers launch, and details are as follows:

1. CF will select all CF’s aligned carrier partners for sellers by default (COD orders can only be fulfilled by CF aligned carriers)

2. If sellers want to contact carrier to fulfill their orders, they can go to [Orders Manage Logistics] and select [Fulfillment by yourself], but need to ensure that carrier should deliver the orders on time.

3. Only Pre-paid orders support Self Shipping by Sellers.

4. Seller should contact carriers to fulfill the orders when their pickup address is not covered by CF aligned carriers.

5. When sellers choose Self Shipping by Sellers, they will get AWB NO. by themselves and need to upload the same on CF system

6. If seller’s pickup address doesn’t support any of the CF aligned carrier, then sellers should choose Self Shipping by Sellers or they should change the pickup address.

7. Orders before 12.9 should be processed in the old [Manage Orders] menu, and orders after 12.9 should be processed in the [New Manage Orders] menu

1. Change of charging standards:

1.Shipping fees will be charged according to specific order flow, which means we’ll apply different charges at different order status (FWD/RTO/RVP): Below are the cases.

(a) Delivered order - Orders get delivered with no return & refund request, then only FWD shipping fee will be charged;

(b) DTO/RVP - If customer require return & refund and choose RVP service, then will charge FWD plus RVP fees;

(c) RTO - if the customer reject the order, then will charge FWD plus RTO fees.



2) Shipping Fees may vary to different carrier and distribution area.

3) Shipping Fees may vary at different weight slabs.

2. CF mainly work with Delhivery/Ecom/XB etc., will have more carriers onwards.

3. CF will intelligently assign carriers according to orders, mainly based on serviceable area/shipping capacity/delivery time and service etc.

4. Composition of final charges: Fees are charged according to the customer zone at chargeable weight slab, and Shipping fees are as follows (GST excluded) :





5. Chargeable weight of LM is dead weight multiplied by weight factor. Delhivery has 1.2x, other carriers (Ecom, XB, etc.) is 1.0x.

6. If Carriers cannot provide weight within seller settlement cycle, CF will charge seller with carrier’s minimum chargeable weight multiplied by weight factor (if there’s any discrepancy with actual weight, we’ll adjust the settlement after carriers provide accurate weight)

7. The charging standard will be effective at 00:00:00 (UTC) on 15th December’19, and will be reflected in the 26th December’19 billing.

8. Shipping fee standard and adjustment are subject to the announcement in seller central (CF has final interpretation with the shipping fee)
