Helping Babies Breathe- MedGlobal Team Trains Indus Hospital Healthcare Professionals The @MedGlobal team conducted the training on “Helping Babies Breathe” for all cadres of healthcare providers at Indus Hospital. Helping Babies Breathe is aimed at empowering healthcare providers with essential skills needed to save 99% of babies born in low resource settings. During this training 96 participants will be trained at three different levels, master trainers, facilitators and providers during this six-day program. This is a sustainable program and the @MedGlobal team will provide continuous support the staff trained at Indus Hospital for one year.

Ms. Harriet Hawkins, a pediatric nurse from the US who has an experience of 50 years in the field of Nursing is conducting the training. Harriet is a Fellow of the Academy of Emergency Nursing. She has received numerous honors and awards for her work, including a nomination by the American Red Cross Heroes Award and has received the Exemplar Nurse Humanitarian Award. Harriet is certified as a Helping Babies Breathe Master Trainer and has delivered courses to medical professionals all over the world.
