Can Reviews of FREE TOOLS be UNBIASED?

Is it possible for a person to give a fair unbiased review of a tool they were sent for free? This is my opinion and many may disagree with it but I am hoping this just raises awareness of many unexplored factors. Yes, there will always be some unscrupulous people out there that murk up the waters BUT for many of us, I feel it is not a problem to give an unbiased review of a free product.
