A rather unusual sight at Long Buckby last night as 70000 'Britannia' made her way back north to Crewe after her foray south during October, including the Bluebell Railways 'Giants of Steam Gala' and her trip at the head of 'The Golden Arrow' masquerading as last southern class mate 70014 'Iron Duke'.
With LSL 47614 at the head of the ECS move back from Carnforth, 70000 was, much to our surprise, facing tender first in the formation as the train sped through the station en-route for Crewe.
My second video from the days outtings will follow during the course of the week. Hope you enjoy!
