Boris Johnson brands Labour ‘yellow belly’ cowards as he refuses to ask EU for Brexit delay

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has told MPs he will flatly refuse their demand for a Brexit delay.

In his most passionate Commons speech yet, the Prime Minister confirmed the Government was digging in to resist Remainer attempts to force him to go to Brussels and beg for the departure from the EU to be postponed again.

BoJo warned that respect for Parliament across the country had been “gravely undermined” by months of “dither, delay, procrastination and confusion”.

And in a furious assault, he branded Jeremy Corbyn’s Labour MPs “yellow bellies” for blocking a general election.
