The list of ailments or diseases that affect the gallbladder are



(1) When the common bile duct is obstructed by the gallstones a condition called Choledocholithiasis affects the gallbladder.

(2) When the blood flow to the gallbladder happens, gangrene of the gallbladder can happen.

(3) Cancer can affect the gallbladder.

(4) Sometimes polyps can appear on the inner walls of the gallbladder.

(5) Sometimes an inflammation can occur in the gallbladder even without the gallstones. This condition is referred to as Acalculous Cholecystitis.
