I was looking for an excuse to create and post some Linda Ronstadt, but I don't need one! It's always a good day to hear and celebrate her wondrous voice. I found some excellent versions of two classics from The Music Enhancement Channel here on youtube where Kenn labours away lovingly on restoring and enhancing classic recordings. Here I have sewn 'When Will I Be Loved' from 1974's 'Heart Like A Wheel' to 1977's 'It's So Easy' form the era defining 'Simple Dreams'. Kenn's meticulous magic has breathed new life into these country pop rock melanges. Linda was an exquisite interpreter of other people's work and here she covers The Everly Brothers and Buddy Holly and had two of her most memorable hits. As they were each only about 2 minutes in duration, i wanted a bit more to listen to - hence the 'When Will I Be So Easy To Be Loved' fusion. Oh, and I discovered there is a Linda Ronstadt documentary feature out this year! How amazing that will be......
