Fishing for deep summer bass is tricky so we did a walkthru video of how to approach deep water bass fishing right now! The first thing is to become comfortable using your sonar like the Lowrance HDS Live for locating bass in the lake on structure like ledges and shell bars. Then it's all about fishing lure selection and presentation - these bass see a lot of fishing baits so showing them something different especially in clear water is insanely important. The Mag Ned Rig was key here just like on Lake Guntersville. Slow dragging it across shell bars and drop offs in the lake where current forms an eddy and stacks up schools of fish.
