जयपुर में इस बार बारिश ही नहीं बल्कि उम्मीद भी आई है...जयपुर के लोगों के लिए एक अच्छी खबर ये है कि पहली ही झमाझम बारिश में जयपुर के रामगढ़ बांध (ramgarh dam jaipur )तक पानी पहुंच गया है। इसकी राह में जितने रोडे थे ,उन्हें दूर करने के लिए पत्रिका ने बकायदा एक मुहिम चला रखी थी...मर गया रामगढ़ #ramgarhdam , अब कैसे होगा जिंदा...इस मुहिम ने अपना असर दिखाया है क्योंकि पत्रिका की खबरों के आधार पर हाईकोर्ट की निगरानी रही, प्रशासन को रसूखदारों के अतिक्रमण और अवैध निर्माणों को ध्वस्त करना पड़ा।

बहरहाल, देर आए, दुरुस्त आए...मानसून से पहले बाधाएं हटाने का काम शुरु हुआ तो बांध में पानी पहुंचा। हालांकि जितना पानी बांध में पहुंचा, उससे कई गुना पानी तो खेतों में ही रह गया। इससे फसल को भारी नुकसान हुआ। बहाव क्षेत्र में अतिक्रमण होने से रोड़ा नदी का लाखों लीटर पानी बांध में जाने की बजाय खेतों में ही समा गया। इससे 100 बीघा से अधिक फसल को नुकसान हुआ। यदि समय से बहाव क्षेत्र के अतिक्रमणों को हटाया गया होता तो बांध की तस्वीर ही कुछ और होती।

स्थानीय लोग बताते हैं कि जब बांध में पानी भरता था, उस समय सर्वाधिक पानी इसी नदी से होकर जाता था। लोगों ने बताया कि सुबह से ही रोड़ा नदी में तेज पानी की आवक शुरू हो गई थी। दोपहर बाद तो नदी को देखने वालों का तांता लग गया। यहां कई बच्चे ऐसे थे, जिन्होंने पहली बार नदी में पानी देखा। लोगों का कहना था कि 1999 के बाद तेजी के साथ पानी आया है।
