Fabien had a very unusual educational background. After leaving school at the age of 17, he passed his literary baccalaureate as a free candidate, at the same time as a part-time job. Since his adolescence, he was not looking for a profession but a way of life, where boredom and monotony would be dislocated by curiosity and the desire to progress permanently. Passionate about street and surfing cultures. Fabien Voileau works particularly on portraits, outdoors, fuelled by fleeting and deliberately torn away shots. He now lives between Paris and New Zealand.
