NBCC To Build Houses Of Buyers Duped By Amrapali

In a landmark judgement favouring aggrieved homebuyers, the Supreme Court cancelled the registration of all companies of Amrapali Group under the RERA or Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act and directed the Enforcement Directorate to initiate proceedings of registering cases of money laundering. The top court also handed over the construction of houses of over 40,000 homebuyers to the state-run NBCC. NDTV spoke to the homebuyers to find out how long the wait for their dream home has been.
