The video, which has since become viral, begins with the sight of a plate full of raw meat. Suddenly one of the skinless pieces of meat appears to begin moving.
After hoisting itself upwards, the carcass yanks itself off the diner’s plate.
In what appears to be a desperate bid to escape, the meat tumbles to the ground.
The speechless onlooker can be heard screaming during the ordeal.
It is not clear where the footage was taken, but it has been seen more than 3million times since being posted to Facebook by Rie Phillips two weeks ago.
Hoards of people flooded in to question why the dead animal was still moving.
One person said: “Usually because the meat is so fresh the muscles can still move.
